Using StudyAI

StudyAI is an educational platform that helps you upload study materials, generate flashcards, search notes, and review content with AI-assisted tools.

By creating an account, accessing the app, or using any paid feature, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Accounts and access

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your email and profile details reasonably up to date.

  • Do not share accounts in a way that bypasses plan limits.
  • Do not attempt to access another user's files, flashcards, or account data.
  • Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Your uploads and generated content

You keep ownership of the documents, notes, images, and other content you upload to StudyAI.

You give us permission to store, process, analyze, and transform that content only as needed to operate the service, including OCR, embeddings, search, flashcard generation, and study workflows.

  • Only upload content you have the right to use.
  • Do not upload unlawful, abusive, infringing, or malicious material.
  • Review AI-generated flashcards and answers before relying on them for coursework, exams, or professional use.

AI features and limitations

StudyAI uses third-party AI services to generate flashcards, answer questions, and create embeddings for search.

AI output can be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. StudyAI is a learning aid, not a substitute for your own academic judgment or for professional advice.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, interfere with normal operation, or try to bypass limits, billing, or security controls.

  • No scraping, reverse engineering, or automated abuse of the app or API.
  • No uploading malware, exploit files, or content meant to disrupt processing.
  • No using the service to violate laws, school policies, or the rights of others.

Paid plans and billing

Some features require a paid subscription or may be governed by usage limits. Plan details, pricing, and allowances may change over time.

If you subscribe, you authorize us and our payment providers to charge the applicable fees. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.

  • You are responsible for applicable taxes and payment method accuracy.
  • We may limit, pause, or downgrade usage when quotas are reached or payment fails.
  • Refunds are handled according to applicable law and any posted billing terms.

Availability and changes

We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of StudyAI at any time. We also may impose reasonable technical or usage limits to keep the service stable and secure.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent storage, or error-free output.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create security or legal risk, abuse the platform, or fail to pay required fees.

You may stop using the service at any time. Certain records may remain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or backup purposes as described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and liability

StudyAI is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, study time, grades, or business opportunities arising from use of the service.

Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through the in-app feedback feature or to the contact details you publish for StudyAI support.
